I toss this in my handbag, leaving the cleaner brush at home, (keeping the sleeve clean) and use my own straw at restaurants. I also use the straw often at home with my morning smoothie. Straw measures approx 10.5". Cleaning tips: apply a small drop of dish soap to the included straw brush and insert into each end of the straw, scrubbing vigorously. Let straw and brush air dry and use again tomorrow!
