About Allison & Lisa
Local moms, and first time entrepreneurs, Lisa Weigard & Allison Gudeman founded Soulshine Boutique in 2016 with the goal of supporting women and making them look and feel beautiful while nourishing their souls. They don’t just sell clothing; they sell shopping experiences that spread joy. They are driven to ensure that from the first stitch to the final purchase, every woman involved with their operation is treated fairly, and is encouraged to be their personal best selves.
In March of 2016, we managed to create an online and festival based presence with their ’76 VW Westfalia backdrop. The bus embodies the boho chic, ethically minded, soul-filled vibe that is Soulshine. From concept to closet, Soulshine finds the clothing and artisan crafted jewelry you feel good wearing. Allison and Lisa source adorable apparel that fits with the following criteria: clothing is either Made in the USA, ethically sourced, or organic.
Lisa, a stay-at-home mom of 2 teenagers and a silly husband, loves thunderstorms, warm from the oven chocolate cookies, and a good glass of wine. She is physically unable to resist the drum solo from Phil Collins I Can Feel It Coming in the Air Tonight and works out each morning to the heady beats of Christian rap. Lisa is most looking forward to helping ladies feel confident, ensuring new friends leave happier than when they arrived.
Allison, a “retired” preschool teacher, a mommy to 2 crazy teenage boys and wife to her sweet supportive hubby, is a free spirited “hippy”chick who cannot pass up a good concert or camping with her family in their 1977 VW Westfalia bus. She is unfiltered, a little wacky and true to herself and her style. She is excited to branch out into the unknown and fulfill her dream of owning a boutique. She is looking forward to making new life long friends and helping them feel better about themselves.
Enjoy their journey from the first pensive moments of possibility, thru the frustration onto excitement, even teary moments when things come together seamlessly. This is just the beginning of something grand.
